After School Programs (Starting September 6, 2011)

Currently ongoing at the center. After Schgool program hours are 3:30-6:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday when Leavenworth Public schools are in session.
 
- All youth must have completed applications before starting YAC after school or summer camp programs.
- The Leavenworth Youth Achievement Center is licensed by the State of Kansas as an after School facility.
- We serve students from 5 - 18 years staff and volunteers must pass background checks. 
- Applications can be picked up at the center or by calling the center and requesting an  application be mailed to you.
 
- Our address is 314 Delaware Street Leavenworth, Kansas 66048 .

YAC Youth REACH
Youth drug, alcohol, and tobacco prevention programs and information provided to the community through newspaper articles, program presentations, and community events.


Work Ready: providing a supervised work site for teens and young adults

The YAC is a community partner with grant funders including Leavenworth United Way & Juvenile Justice Block Grant Funding – First Judicial District Juvenile Justice programs and Kansas Advisory Group, providing direct programs and services to include: tutoring, academic support and Positive Action.
