Q: What is the Youth Achievement Center?
A: They Youth Achievement Center is a place for youth to go during the after school hours. There are many programs and services offered at the YAC, many of which are free.

A: (FORMERLY Big Brothers/Sisters of Lv. Co., Inc.)
After School and Summer Camp programs provided at no cost for at-risk families in the Leavenworth community. Mentoring programs, matching adult mentors to work with one child
Q: How are the Youth Achievement Center and Youth Support Programs funded?
A: These programs are funded through grants and local donations. No local tax dollars are used to fund the YAC/YSP services and programs. Youth Support Programs are funded through the Leavenworth County United Way
Q: What is the 'catch?'
A: There is no 'catch' to what we offer. Please call or visit us to see for yourself.
Q: Do I have to qualify for my kids to use the services at the Youth Achievement Center?
A: No, all residents of Leavenworth County are eligible to use the programs offered.
Q: Is there an age limit for the youth who use the YAC?
A: Yes, we do have an age limit, which starts at age 5 through graduation of high school.
Q: Is the facility handicapped accessible?
A: Yes, the center has a handicapped accessible door located on the east side of our building near our parking lot.
